Getting Started

Welcome to Linkzly โ€” the all-in-one growth platform for marketers, developers, affiliates, and app publishers. This guide walks you through everything you need to go from zero to fully operational.

1.1 What is Linkzly?

Linkzly is a unified platform that brings together link management, mobile app growth, affiliate marketing, and gaming analytics under one roof. Whether you are running paid media campaigns, distributing mobile apps, managing an affiliate network, or tracking in-game events, Linkzly gives you the tools to do it all from a single console.

Who is Linkzly for?

Persona How Linkzly helps
Marketers Create short links, QR codes, and track conversions across ad networks
Developers Deep links, smart app routing, OTA distribution, webhooks, and API access
Affiliates & Affiliate Managers Commission tracking, payout management, and performance reporting
Mobile App Teams Smart links with deferred deep linking, OTA builds, and push notifications
Game Publishers In-game analytics, fraud detection, and SKAdNetwork attribution

Core Product Suite

  • Short Links โ€” Create branded short URLs with advanced routing rules, A/B testing, and detailed click analytics.
  • Dynamic QR Codes โ€” Generate fully customizable QR codes that can be updated after printing without reprinting.
  • Smart Links โ€” Deep link users directly into specific screens of your mobile app, with deferred deep linking for users who haven't installed yet.
  • OTA App Distribution โ€” Distribute iOS and Android builds directly to testers and stakeholders without going through the App Store or Google Play.
  • Affiliate Marketing โ€” Run your own affiliate program with custom commission structures, real-time tracking, and automated payout management.
  • Gaming Intelligence โ€” Track player events, detect fraud, and manage SKAdNetwork attribution for iOS games.
  • Push Notifications โ€” Create and send campaigns across multiple push notification providers from one interface.
  • Ad Network Tracking โ€” Connect Facebook, Google, TikTok, and other ad networks to track conversions and postback events.

1.2 Creating Your Account

  1. Go to the Linkzly sign-up page and click the Create Account tab.
  2. Fill in all six fields:
    • First Name โ€” your given name (e.g. John)
    • Last Name โ€” your family name (e.g. Doe)
    • Email โ€” the address you will use to log in (e.g. john@example.com)
    • Organization Name โ€” the name of your company or workspace (e.g. Acme Inc.)
    • Password โ€” must meet all of the requirements listed below
    • Confirm Password โ€” retype your password to confirm it matches
  3. Click Create Account.

Password Requirements

Your password must satisfy all of the following before the account can be created. A real-time checklist on the form shows which requirements you have met:

Requirement Detail
Minimum length At least 8 characters
Uppercase letter At least one uppercase letter (Aโ€“Z)
Lowercase letter At least one lowercase letter (aโ€“z)
Number At least one digit (0โ€“9)
Special character At least one of: !, @, #, $, %

Verify Your Email

After signing up, Linkzly sends a verification email to the address you provided. Open the email and click the verification link to activate your account.

  • If you do not see the email, check your spam or junk folder.
  • If the email still has not arrived, log in to the console and look for the verification banner at the top of the screen. Click Resend Verification Email to request a new link.

First Login

Once your email is verified, log in and you will land on your Dashboard. Linkzly automatically creates a default organization for you using the Organization Name you entered during sign-up โ€” no extra setup is required to get started.

Account Lockout

For security, Linkzly locks your account after 5 consecutive failed login attempts. The lockout lasts 30 minutes, after which you can try again. If you have forgotten your password, use the Forgot Password link on the login page to reset it before reaching the lockout limit.

1.3 Console Overview

The Linkzly console is organized into a left sidebar for navigation, a workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar, and a main content area on the right.

1.4 Plans and Feature Access

Linkzly offers four plan tiers. Higher tiers unlock additional features and higher usage limits.

Professional For growing businesses needing advanced features and higher limits
Enterprise For large organizations needing custom limits, SLAs, and dedicated support

Some sections of the console โ€” including Push, Affiliate, and Gaming Intelligence โ€” are only shown when your account has that feature enabled. If you do not see one of these sections in your sidebar, your current plan may not include it. Visit the Billing page to view your current plan or upgrade.

Linkzly supports two-factor authentication (2FA) to add an extra layer of security to your account. You can set this up at any time from 2FA Setup in the System section of the sidebar.

Supported 2FA Methods

Method How it works
Authenticator App (TOTP) Use an app like Google Authenticator or Authy to generate a time-based one-time code
Email OTP Receive a one-time code to your registered email address

Backup Codes

When you enable 2FA, Linkzly generates a set of backup codes. Store these in a safe place โ€” you can use one to access your account if you lose access to your 2FA method.

Trusted Devices

You can mark a device as trusted so that 2FA is not required every time you log in from that device. Trusted device status lasts for 30 days.
